The Art of Natural History

In this course participants will make sketchbook pages and small paintings of our natural flora and fauna. We will investigate aspects of our amazing natural world and capture them in art. Mediums used will be graphite, pen and ink and watercolour.

 

Twila Robar-DeCoste

Twila Robar-DeCoste SCA holds a BSc., M Sc and BEd. from Acadia University. She has been teaching people to draw and paint since 1987. She has illustrated numerous books and has participated in group and solo shows also since 1987. She is a juried and elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists(SCA) currently president of the Botanical Artists of Nova Scotia Association (BANSA), and a member of the Canadian Society of Botanical Artists and America Society of Botanical Artists.
