To take control of your photography you must take control of the light! This beginner/intermediate level course will provide participants a solid foundation in how to use natural and off-camera lighting techniques to improve their images. Some of the topics covered are the use of reflectors and bounced light, off camera flash , modifying the light source and the limitations of the built-in flash. We will also explore some of the various tools and hardware used for various lighting scenarios. This course is focused on DSLR and mirrorless cameras with manual controls and have off-camera flash capabilities. A solid understanding of basic exposure concepts is a prerequisite.
