NetWorKiT Club 2021

Registration is closed for this event

The NetWorKiT Club will allow girls from grades 8 to 12 to come together virtually and experience the benefit of hearing from student mentors. The goal of this program is to encourage girls to think deeply about possible paths, while also pairing the girls with a student from a STEAM degree who will act as a mentor. They key programming goals are to facilitate connections between like-minded individuals and link one university student with one high school student, while using resources from Dr. Lynn Aylward’s WorKiT workshop to help foster resiliency, an appreciation of the skills the girls already possess, and a deeper understanding of their possible selves.

The mentees will meet with their mentors once a week at a time that works best for both parties. We will meet as a group virtually every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm (Atlantic Standard Time). Every participant is encouraged to attend if they are available.

The “NetWorKiT Club” is committed to providing accessibility and helping supply resources to accommodate everyone. Please let us know any arrangements we can make to ensure that you are getting the most out of this experience.
